Sinterklaas, our version is Santa Claus.
Just some minor differences:
Sinterklaas lives in Spain, not the north pole.
Sinterklaas his birthday is on December 6, so on December 5 he gives us presents. (Comes to Holland just for that. Silly old man. 
)
Sinterklaas would actually fit trough a chimney (:unsure:). 
So yesterday, we got our presents.
(Or well.. it started saturday evening at our grandma’s. /me got Harry Potter and the halfblood prince. But with the weak, ugly back. So my mom went back to the store to change it.)
First, we had the suprise thing. (We drew ticket things a few weeks ago, and we all had to make and buy something for somebody in the famile.) My little sister had me, she bought me some computer magazines. (Dates Nov 04, Dec 04 and Jan 05. Yay, another SP2 disk.)
When that was all over, we got the stuff our parents bought.
I got a Harry Potter book (Or well.. two actually, as mom had packed the one she changed as well).
So now, I have The chamber of secrets, The prisoner of Azkaban and The order of the phoenix.
I also got a new jacket, its cool. 
And some other, smaller stuff.

Why does he live in Spain?

Nobody knows really.
Thats just how the story goes.
But every year, he comes here somewhere in November, and leaves December 6.
He comes with a steam driven boat, so if you think about it, he’s traveling back and forth most off the time, but who cares.

It has something to do with his bones being taken there after he died… But that’s nonsense, of course, he’s very alive ^_^
